Service Description
Boiler Inspection and Servicing We will carry out a full inspection of the appliance to check that it meets current safety regulations. If the appliance does not comply with safety regulations we will let you know what additional work is necessary. Please note that the service can only be carried out if the appliance is fully functional. All gas appliances must be checked for safety at least every 12 months. Our Boiler Service includes the following checks: 1. Check appliance for gas tightness. 2. Check for satisfactory ventilation. 3. Check working pressure if test point available 4. Check burner pressure / gas rate against manufacturer's instructions. 5. Carry out flue flow / spillage test to ensure safe removal of products of combustion. 6. Check satisfactory operation of all safety devices. 7. Inspect the internal operation of the boiler for any signs of incomplete combustion. 8. Provide flue/gas analyser report. 9. Inspect flue to ensure it is safe, secure and to current standards. 10. Report any unsafe operation to a responsible person. Annual service for un-vented water heaters includes testing safety valves, recharging pressure vessels, cleaning the pressure reduction valve, checking electrical connections and providing a service certificate. Manufacturers of un-vented water heaters recommend that you have your water heater serviced once each year, and many home insurance policies require this. Cozy Heat have been superb to deal with, Stacie and Graeme have made sure I got the correct electric combo boiler for my house. They have kept me fully informed on all stages. Kyle the engineer has been excellent, friendly and very professional. He explained the process and kept everything clean and tidy. He checked everything was working on the new boiler and through the rest of the central heating and shower. Professional job start to finish. My house had an outdated heating and hot water system that had been patched over the years resulting in low pressure, cold radiators and a mess of pipes in our attic. Cozy heat inspected the job and then provided an itemised breakdown of all work to be done. They recommended additional changes such as fixing dripping taps, pressurising the system and servicing the boiler. Heating and hot water system has never been better, quality job and result.

So we booked Cozy Heat to do a service on the boiler in a house we’d only moved to in the previous year. CO leak found and boiler condemned. Eek! Seb, who had to deliver the bad news explained the issues thoroughly and quickly arranged to have a quote drawn up for a new boiler. This came through the same day and was extremely reasonable. Given the efficiency of work and comms from Seb, wasn’t a surprise that availability to fit a new boiler was an issue. This happened during the cold snap in November so we had to look elsewhere (and paid more ultimately) to get a new boiler fitted quickly but if it had been in warmer months, would have absolutely waited for Cozy’s availability. Would 100% recommend them based on our experience.
